Advice from long term exhibitors

  • Bring: stationery, business cards, price lists, credit application forms, order forms, catalogues/flyers, credit card payment forms.
  • Have lollies at your stand to break the ice with visitors. If you choose to do so, make sure they are all individual wrapped.
  • Other things to think about: have you updated your website? do you need to have any samples ready? do you need props to dress up your products?
  • Purchase furniture that you can re-use.
  • Use digital print backdrops to show off your product
  • You can use a cheap bed sheet from Kmart to dress up your black Corinthian walls.
  • Don't overfill your stand
  • Velcro works best for attaching to your walls - the Corinthian walls are made of "loop" material.
  • Make sure you bring spare boxes and a good pallet to store your items (your pallet will most likely come from your freight delivery).
  • Make the most of the AGHA freight labels.
  • Consider rostering staff to help you with your stand.
  • Set some goals for yourself to measure success
  •  Network and have fun!

ADVICE FROM THE AGHA TEAM

  • Read your emails. All info hub emails will come from "AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair". Keep a look out and if you haven't received any comms, please ensure you check through your spam inbox.
  • Complete all of your exhibitor tasks - Get through as many tasks as possible as soon as you've signed on so not to stress yourself out closer to the fair. Your exhibitor tasks are designed to help the AGHA understand your stand design and will ensure you stay up to date with the latest requirements of exhibiting. We will send you reminders to complete your tasks (those who have completed their tasks are excluded from those reminders). Lets work together to ensure your exhibiting experience is smooth.
  • Visual merchandising! Think of how you will design your stand... create a fun and inviting stand
  • Scan visitors through your leads app. Post fair, add your leads to your mailing list or reach out to them personally - the fair isn't just 4 days; keep networking and build on those relationships
  • Advertise with the AGHA - we offer a wide variety of advertising opportunities starting at $95 for an image advert in the printed buyers guide.
