Commonwealth Bank  – Member Benefit

AGHA has partnered with Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) to offer our members access to tailored banking and finance support for retail and wholesale businesses.

Through this partnership, AGHA members can choose to be introduced to a CBA Alliance Partner Relationship Manager, who can discuss banking solutions relevant to your business needs.

How it works

  • AGHA will only share your details with CBA with your consent

  • Once consent is provided, a CBA representative will contact you (usually within 2 business days)

  • There is no obligation to proceed with any products or services

Why this may benefit you

  • Access to a leading Australian bank with experience supporting retail businesses

  • A warm introduction through your industry association

  • Ability to explore finance and banking options at a time that suits your business

Important information

  • Any banking products or finance are subject to CBA’s credit approval and standard terms

  • AGHA does not provide financial advice

  • AGHA may receive a referral fee from CBA for successful referrals

If you’d like to be introduced to Commonwealth Bank or learn more, simply opt in when prompted or contact the AGHA team.

Terms & Conditions

You must remain a member of the Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) to receive the discounted rates. The package benefits will remain in place for as long as you remain a member of AGHA. Both AGHA and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) reserve the right to review, amend, or withdraw the package at any time.

A condition for AGHA Members wishing to enter the AGHA Member Benefit Program is that the member consents to the following:

Consent and Authority

In consideration of CBA agreeing to supply banking products and/or financial services to the member, and in consideration of AGHA introducing the member to CBA, the member hereby consents to and expressly authorises the furnishing by CBA to AGHA, and the receipt by AGHA from CBA from time to time, of information concerning the member and the supply of products or services to the member, where such information is necessary or reasonable to enable AGHA to calculate the volume of products or services supplied by CBA to the member under the program.

Billing and Responsibility

The head agreement is between AGHA and CBA. AGHA Members will be billed by, and are solely responsible for, the payment of all costs, fees, charges, and liabilities incurred on their account with CBA. All participating members must sign any indemnity or participation documentation accompanying the offer.

AGHA will not accept any responsibility or liability for charges, fees, losses, or debts incurred by the member.

Release and Indemnity

In consideration of CBA agreeing to supply products or services to the member, and in consideration of AGHA introducing the member to CBA, the member, to the extent permitted by law, hereby releases AGHA and CBA (and each of them) from all claims, demands, causes of action, proceedings, and costs to which the member is or may become entitled as a consequence of the supply of information by CBA to AGHA in respect of the member.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, this release extends to any interference with privacy or breach of the National Privacy Principles or the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

By agreeing, the member acknowledges that upon any default in respect of products or services billed by CBA under the AGHA agreement, responsibility for all incurred fees, charges, and liabilities will remain with the member from the date the default occurs.

In consideration of CBA agreeing to supply products or services to the member, and AGHA introducing the member to CBA, the member indemnifies and will keep indemnified AGHA and CBA (and each of them) against any liability that AGHA, CBA, or both jointly may incur as a consequence of the supply of information by CBA to AGHA in respect of the member. This indemnity includes, without limitation, any interference with privacy or breach of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Commission Disclosure

AGHA hereby notifies members that, in return for AGHA introducing its members to CBA, and as part of CBA entering into a partner program with AGHA, CBA has agreed to pay AGHA a commission.
